Kids Academy programs are designed to encourage children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials, and to pursue their own interests within a group setting. Above all, the program will provide experiences that support and stimulate children’s learning in a manner appropriate for each individual, as well as for the group as a whole.

All activities and experiences are linked to centre goals, group goals, individual goals, philosophy, group and individual evaluations. Parents are encouraged to comment on and provide ideas to enhance the program based on their child's current interests.

Our aim is to provide different types of play and sensory experiences using interesting materials, identifying children's interests and needs to support their development. The program will foster individual uniqueness, self esteem, independence and cater for all learning areas. The program is designed to stimulate and develop each child's sense of self, communication, thinking, physical, social, feeling, creative and spiritual potential.

An inclusive program is provided, catering for children of all abilities and accommodating their social and cultural backgrounds.

Parents As Partners

To ensure that our programs are meeting the needs of your family, we encourage you to become actively involved within the Kids Academy program. Kids Academy believes that the most positive environment exists when parents and the Centre work together as partners and therefore your comments and suggestions are always welcomed and valued and most importantly acted on.
